Edvora Attendance
A clear attendance record for every school day.
Edvora connects classroom attendance, teacher and staff check-ins, leave context, daily registers, and role-aware visibility to the school structure already in use.
Attendance lifecycle
Scope the day, mark it, and keep it visible.
Select a stage to inspect the workflow. Every stage remains readable, and nothing advances automatically.
CLASS + SESSION
Open the authorised classroom.
Active students are resolved from the academic session and selected class-section. Teachers see class-teacher or delegated attendance scope.

Student attendance
The roster starts with authorised class context.
Active students come from the current academic session and class-section. Teachers work within class ownership or an attendance-specific delegation; school administrators can support the same protected workflow.

Teacher and staff attendance
A separate daily check-in, when the school enables it.
Eligible school staff can mark their own attendance from the configured school location. Edvora validates location accuracy and radius on the server, records present or late, and supports checkout only when the school requires it.
Check-in
One school-scoped staff record per person and day.
Verification
Low accuracy and outside-radius attempts are rejected rather than recorded as presence.
Checkout
Optional, configurable, and available only after a successful check-in.
History
Staff see their own monthly activity; authorised school roles can review and export reports.
Exceptions, register, and reporting
Keep unmarked days and leave context visible.
Pending and approved leave informs classroom review. The daily report distinguishes marked records, approved leave, and unmarked students, with summary or detailed class-wise PDF output.

Governance and safeguards
Class ownership
Teachers can save only for a class-teacher assignment or explicit attendance delegation.
Roster validation
Every submitted student must belong to the selected active class-section and academic session.
School-day dates
Attendance date keys are normalized consistently in the school’s configured operating timezone.
One student-day record
A repeated save updates the existing record instead of creating a second entry for the same day.
Marked-by context
The latest saving user remains attached to the student attendance record.
Protected outputs
Daily attendance PDFs and staff reports require defined school roles and scoped data.
Connected School OS outcome
One school day, visible in the right context.
Attendance continues from academic sessions, class ownership, student records, leave, the school calendar, family access, and protected operational reporting.
